Three
Card Poker Books
Bold Card Play ,
by Frank Scoblete, published by Bonus Books (May 25, 1998); 151 pages
This is a great book for beginners because Bold Card Play! goes
into much more than just the games themselves. Unlike some books
which focus entirely on the mathematical aspects, Frank Scoblete
gives you basic hand rankings for three and five card hands, money
management tips and a comparison of various casino games.
Mastering the Game of Three Card Poker ,
by Stanley Ko, published by Gambology (June 1999); 20 pages
Stanley Ko specializes in mathematical analysis of casino table
and slot games and is recognized as one of the best game analysts
in the gaming industry. His company Gambology has analyzed hundreds
of new games for developers, gaming companies and casinos for the
past six years.
This book is the ultimate Three Card Poker book when it comes to
expert analysis and statistics. Aside from just giving you the optimal
strategy, Mr. Ko goes as far as to analyze odds when other cards
are seen. (One of the dealer's cards or a card from another player)
Expert
Strategy For Three Card Poker, by Elliot A Frome, published
by Compu-Flyers (2003); 10 pages
Frome does a good job here of giving you the mathematical analysis
of Three Card Poker. It is similar to Stanley Ko's book but is a
little less detailed. If you have problems finding a copy of Ko's
book you might want to grab a copy.
Frome starts out by giving you a brief history of 3 Card Poker then
dives right in to the basics of play. Frome then explains the mathematical
analysis of both the Ante/Play game as well as the Pair Plus game.
He then concludes with the best strategy for each, what to expect
and what the future holds for the game of Three Card Poker. |
