3 Card Poker Tournament

By far the largest tournament for Three Card Poker is the World Championship which was started a few years ago by Shuffle Up Productions, Inc. Starting out as a National Championship, the tournament is now a worldwide phenomenon and in 2007 the competition was held at the Wynn in Las Vegas and boasted a $500,000 first place prize. In order to play you must first earn a seat by playing at a qualifying table at one of several participating casinos. (I have all of the casinos listed at the bottom of this page) I know a few years ago you could purchase a seat at the competition if you did not qualify for a seat first, but I'm not sure if you can still buy your way in today.

How the Tournament Works
Each player gets $2,000 in tournament chips per round. The minimum bet is $25 and there is not maximum bet. After every 15 hands the player at the table with the least amount of chips gets eliminated and so forth. As you might have guessed the Three Card Poker World Championship is a "Last Man Standing" tournament.
